A Day in Miss Connelly's Class
Here you will find out our daily classroom and weekly specials schedules. It is important to remember to wear your sneakers on our P.E. days and return library books each week. If you are ever curious about just what we are up to in our classroom, please come in! We have an open door policy and are excited to have parents and family members volunteer and be a part of our classroom.

Weekly Homework
This year your child will have weekly math, reading, and spelling homework. All homework will be given out on Monday and collected on Friday. Each morning your child will write his or her homework in their agenda.
New this year will be a activity menu for spelling. Each night students will be asked to complete an activity and practice their words for a test given on Friday. Spelling words will be written into their agendas on Monday. There will also be a math page to review skills covered that week in class and a reading comprehension activity. Independent reading is also encouraged nightly. Here is the suggested weekly homework schedule.
Monday- Math page, Read passage, Spelling activity
Tuesday- Math page, Reread passage, Spelling activity Wednesday- Math page, Answer questions, Spelling activity
Thursday- Math page, Study for spelling test
Friday- Homework Due. Have a great weekend!
